The expansion interface unit provided with the camera enables the use of AG-GH4U for professional applications. The output of a 42210-bit SDI video signal via Quad Link 4K SDI 4 Square Division allows connection to a professional 4K recorder or 4K monitor. The expansion interface unit also features XLR audio input LINEMIC48V selectable 2 channels audio manual dial and level meter. It enables recording of sound from an external mic or line and comes with a time code input BNC 1.
